As the year comes to an end, here are my top ten show biz stories of 2014 for anyone interested:

10) Eva Mendes and Ryan Gossling have a baby in secrecy. Eva admits to Ellen that being a new mom is exhausting and she only allows relatives to help her, not nannies. She is (almost) just like us!

9) DWTS (finally) lives up to its name (off screen) as DWTS cast members actually date movie stars!… Maks and Jlo, and Derek Hough and Kate Hudson… I call it the “Johnny Castle effect” a scientifically proven phenomenon.

8) Diana Ross must now attend child birthday parties and kindergym events with ex minister Joe and Tina Simpson, now that her son is married and expecting with Ashlee Simpson. Bronx Mogli gets one pretty cool step grandma~!!! The glamorous, legendary talent, recording and screen star has to put up with the Simpsons from now on.. Well, that’s what you get for raising your kids in show biz!

7) JFK and Marilyn redeux? Patrick Swartzenegger and Miley Cyrus are dating. This is troubling to Maria Shriver who has had her fair share of woes. Kennedys + starlets is as American as macaroni and cheese by now… see last sentence above.

6) Sony Hack Job.. my grandma Mary said it best “never put it in writing!”

5) Duggars become famous reality stars and even get covers of People Magazine. This is puzzling. However, the millions of evangelical Christians need their reality stars too! And business is business folks…sex  and reproduction (inside a devout Christian framework) sells!!! Plus if you have that many people in your family. you are guaranteed a scandal or two now and then.

4) Cameron Diaz and Good Charlotte Rocker Benji Madden are engaged and I for one am happy for them!!! After years of heartache,  has she found her match? Don’t be put off by the tattoos and the dark depressing clothes..Benji is like a sweet little puppy following her around adoringly. That must be very nice for Cam. And thanks go out to matchmaker Nicole Ritchie for setting them up!

3) Tori and Dean split, reconcile, split, go on yogurt runs, talk about their personal drama to the public… the main story is..why are they famous? The creator of the Love Boat and Fantasy Island needs to do a major rewrite for his little girl. Mr. Rourke would have most definitely made a foreboding and cryptic toast to the new couple had he attended their wedding… and on a more hopeful note..if only Meryl Stubing could just sort this all out for these troubled kids.. with a little unlicensed counseling and pep talk.

2) This one almost takes the Cake.. Jen Aniston .. finally… a contender!! for Oscar! In a heartless, ruthless town obsessed with what is new and trendy.. she has landed

on top! Looking forward to seeing her and Justin Theroux on the red carpet together. And since she can’t shake the Brangelina connection I will attach it here to my list as 2a)…     

 2a)Brangelina gets married! The kids, the villa, the scribbled on veil… the uninvited grandpa John Voight.. an understated affair.. leading to our #1 (not so understated)..

1)      George Clooney gets married in Venice! He finally finds someone to grow old with even though he was already doing a good job getting there on his own… to a beautiful and accomplished woman who easily upstaged Cindy Crawford! They put the glam in Destination wedding and let’s hope she will forever respect and honor the memory of the first love of George’s life.. Max the potbellied pig!
