Everyone's favorite lifestyle guru is at it again! GP has let it be known that she worked for everything she had and got no help. She was cut off and sent out the door, into the cold world.

 Why can't she just stop right now and hire someone who will make her not talk to the press? She very badly wants us to love and admire her for things that just don't seem to be true... but if she would just be honest with herself and us, maybe we really would!! Are there any GP fans out there? I am not sure, but several thousand people voted for Gary Coleman for governor of California.. several thousand!! therefore, I know she has lots of fans as a logical conclusion.

We of course know she is very connected via her dad as a Hollywood TV producer and of course her well known film star mother.. and a certain godfather named Steven Speilberg.. and didn't he cast her as Wendy in peter pan?

If my dad or mom was, let's say, a used car salesperson.. wouldn't I get an edge on the latest preowned car? of course!

I would prefer an admission such as this: I am very lucky for my obvious advantages and to be so well connected in Hollywood and I appreciate that advantage, however with that advantage, I have also worked very hard, and of course feel grateful for what I have, and therefore have responsibility to use my advantages wisely blah blah blah.. you know, sort of like JFK Jr. and his acceptance that yes, he was privileged, but he chose to use it wisely and to help others.

We also are NOW hearing that it is better to raise kids in LA rather than Europe. I seem to remember some interviews about how one should not raise kids in LA and that Europe is preferable. what is all this (gluten free) waffling all about?

Dustin Diamond (aka Screech from SBTB) was arrested in Wisconsin for some type of bar brawl over the holidays. More interesting to me than this news is the news that comes with this story.... that it has come to light that he is dating a clown named Loli Pop and my questions are not about the brawl itself.... but about the following: how did they meet? what were they doing in Wisconsin? what does this say about the psychology of clowns and the rampant fear of clowns in our society?

Dustin Diamond has admitted guilt about this incident in one on line article I read, then, in another, he said it was an accident and was sorry he missed the Packers game.

Screech most definitely played the clown on SBTB and as we saw later in his adult life, was so obviously crying intensely inside. His relationship with lolipop must be fraught with despair, self loathing, as well as dark humor. I will be trying to find out how they met and where she studied the art of clowning. In the meantime, his bail hearing is on Jan 5.

Big news that Sophia Vergara and Joe Mangianello are engaged. I first heard about Sophia a long time ago.. when she was dating Tom Cruise.... she became a big star with Modern Family years later.


According to reports, she wisely wanted to avoid the Scientology world.
Now she is with Joe and fans are intrigued by these two super good looking stars being together. Supposedly, couples who are too similar, look alike, dress alike, are not likely to last. Maybe Sophia would be better off with someone a little less... hot? Some potential LTR material... Wallace Shawn? Ed Helms?

As the year comes to an end, here are my top ten show biz stories of 2014 for anyone interested:

10) Eva Mendes and Ryan Gossling have a baby in secrecy. Eva admits to Ellen that being a new mom is exhausting and she only allows relatives to help her, not nannies. She is (almost) just like us!

9) DWTS (finally) lives up to its name (off screen) as DWTS cast members actually date movie stars!… Maks and Jlo, and Derek Hough and Kate Hudson… I call it the “Johnny Castle effect” a scientifically proven phenomenon.

8) Diana Ross must now attend child birthday parties and kindergym events with ex minister Joe and Tina Simpson, now that her son is married and expecting with Ashlee Simpson. Bronx Mogli gets one pretty cool step grandma~!!! The glamorous, legendary talent, recording and screen star has to put up with the Simpsons from now on.. Well, that’s what you get for raising your kids in show biz!

7) JFK and Marilyn redeux? Patrick Swartzenegger and Miley Cyrus are dating. This is troubling to Maria Shriver who has had her fair share of woes. Kennedys + starlets is as American as macaroni and cheese by now… see last sentence above.

6) Sony Hack Job.. my grandma Mary said it best “never put it in writing!”

5) Duggars become famous reality stars and even get covers of People Magazine. This is puzzling. However, the millions of evangelical Christians need their reality stars too! And business is business folks…sex  and reproduction (inside a devout Christian framework) sells!!! Plus if you have that many people in your family. you are guaranteed a scandal or two now and then.

4) Cameron Diaz and Good Charlotte Rocker Benji Madden are engaged and I for one am happy for them!!! After years of heartache,  has she found her match? Don’t be put off by the tattoos and the dark depressing clothes..Benji is like a sweet little puppy following her around adoringly. That must be very nice for Cam. And thanks go out to matchmaker Nicole Ritchie for setting them up!

3) Tori and Dean split, reconcile, split, go on yogurt runs, talk about their personal drama to the public… the main story is..why are they famous? The creator of the Love Boat and Fantasy Island needs to do a major rewrite for his little girl. Mr. Rourke would have most definitely made a foreboding and cryptic toast to the new couple had he attended their wedding… and on a more hopeful note..if only Meryl Stubing could just sort this all out for these troubled kids.. with a little unlicensed counseling and pep talk.

2) This one almost takes the Cake.. Jen Aniston .. finally… a contender!! for Oscar! In a heartless, ruthless town obsessed with what is new and trendy.. she has landed

on top! Looking forward to seeing her and Justin Theroux on the red carpet together. And since she can’t shake the Brangelina connection I will attach it here to my list as 2a)…

1)      George Clooney gets married in Venice! He finally finds someone to grow old with even though he was already doing a good job getting there on his own… to a beautiful and accomplished woman who easily upstaged Cindy Crawford! They put the glam in Destination wedding and let’s hope she will forever respect and honor the memory of the first love of George’s life.. Max the potbellied pig!
